While 80°C should be fine, it's probably affecting your boost frequencies and thus is probably impacting performance. I have a 5800X with PBO enabled (5GHz boost) and a NH-D14 cooler with 2x NF-A12X25 fans instead of the stock fans. My idle temps are 35-40°C and gaming temps are 50-65°C (depending on the game). While 80°C should be fine, it's probably affecting your boost frequencies and thus is probably impacting performance.Ryzen is closer to 20-25°C above ambient normally, with 20-25°C spikes. On average, at stock settings and stock cooler. But whatever you heard about Ryzens running hot because of bios settings not properly set up, is garbage. The settings are entirely correct for a guaranteed stable cpu for any plain jane pc.Ryzen 7 5700G, for example, is home to 10.7bn transistors, whereas the CPU-only Ryzen 7 5800X is closer to 6.5bn. If it's not abundantly clear, AMD repurposes Ryzen 7/9 H-series mobile Cezanne ...Here's my specs running on the F13 BIOS: Ryzen 5 5600G. Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX. Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600. Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive. Kingston A2000 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive. InWin Chopin HTPC Case w/150 W. 7. 9 comments. The Ryzen 7 5700G was 12% slower than the 5800X at 1080p, 10% slower at 1440p and 4% slower at 4K. Once again the 3700X would be even slower, and the 5700G faster than it. We did find a bottleneck for the Ryzen 7 5700G in Microsoft Flight Sim 2020. The Ryzen 7 5700G lagged behind in this game at 1080p and 1440p, even compared to the 3700X.SSD: Samsung 970 Evo plus 250GB. PSU: Seasonic GX-550. Windows 10 Pro 64 bits. I'm using the stock cooler that came with the 3600, and i was surprised to see the idle temperature is 50° to 55°C with the CPU at 2% or 3% of usage according to the task manager and with a very cold room temperature (around 20°C).In response to marcelofacao. MVP. 03-15-2022 04:27 PM. The maximum operating temperature for your processor is 90c. The processor starts to throttle or slow down when it reaches and passes 90c. Your processor shouldn't reach 90c with your AIO Liquid CPU Cooler. Something is making your processor run at almost to the point overheating.Jul 8, 2020 · Try setting PBO to disabled (default is auto) and setup a slightly more aggressive custom fan profile for your CPU fans, then use Ryzen Balanced OR a custom Balanced power plan with its minimum processor state set to 85% or lower (Higher for slightly better performance, lower for better idle temps). The clock speeds going down bellow 2200mhz is ... 08-30-2021 10:31 PM I haven't used a 5700G, but Ryzens in general run fast and hot. They will boost up higher and higher until it bumps into the power, thermal, or frequency limits. Your 5700G has a PPT of 88W, a max boost clock of 4.6 (I think?), and a thermal limit of probably 90 or 95C.Aug 25, 2021 · As mentioned, unfortunately no thermal measurements for this article with the k10temp driver not supporting the CPU temperature monitoring until the Linux 5.15 cycle. That is the only rather small but silly issue found so far with the Ryzen 7 5700G is the lack of timely support for the temperature reporting for Ryzen 5000 series APUs. You want it to be at least 550RPM I think. That’s a better fan curve, but you can increase the flat line section in very small increments until you can hear it, then lower it one increment & leave it there - you may get slightly more RPM than 20% & hence better cooling. Something to toy with if you want.Dec 31, 2020 · CPU cooler and/or case and ambient temp. My R5 3600 also idles at 30-35W and around ~30C. Please fill your profile with details of your system. Where a Ryzen will power idle is depending mostly on power plan. BIOS and chipset drivers may also involved. Usually all systems I’ve seen are around 25~35W for CPU PPT. AMD seeded us with review samples, but we posted a review early by sourcing AMD's Ryzen 7 5700G in an HP Pavilion TP01-2066 system so we could strip the chip and get to testing, but the system configuReview: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G. by Tarinder Sandhu on 3 August 2021, 14:01 Tags: AMD ... Core temperature recorded when idle and when rendering via Blender.Upgraded from a 3600X. I'm concerned about the temperature of the 5700X. Using a Corsair H60 Aio for cooling, kept my 3600X at around 60C even under heavier loads. Now the 5700X doesn't exceed 60C on Cinebench r20 or Prime95 but after testing some games on high refresh rates (Dying Light 1 on 120FPS / DOOM Eternal on 165FPS) temps go up to 75C ...My Ryzen 7 5800x are idling at a very high temp (45-55) according to Ryzen Master and HWInfo. Yet when i play games the temperature doesn't change that much at all. Playing RDR2 at max settings in 2k. My temp rarely goes above 60 even after a 5 hour play session. Cinebench pushes it to 85 degrees and it stays there for the 10 min i chose to run ...I'm way late to the Ryzen party but i got a used Ryzen 5 1400 machine after my Phenom II x4 b55 platform died. I tinkered with it a lot in my free time, but i'm wondering what is the safe temperature range, mine runs at 1.25v,3.5ghz,idles at 35-40c and while gaming for hours it gets up to 65c with the wraith stealth,my ambient temperature is really high now though, probably close to 30c at times.Upgraded from a 3600X. My guess is you will get into the 80s running cinebench. If you do, this is only of concern if you do a lot of heavy processing tasks, if you are just gaming then it is no problem at all. .
